For immediate release:

Semnox Solutions, a global leader in technology solutions for the entertainment and leisure industry, has announced a strategic partnership with The Pelican Group, a premier national operator of amusement and vending services, to implement the Semnox Parafait RFID card system across more than 400 Regal theatres throughout the United States.

This collaboration marks a major milestone in enhancing the guest experience at Regal locations nationwide by introducing a modern, cashless, and frictionless play card solution powered by Semnox’s industry-leading Parafait system. Guests will now enjoy convenient RFID-enabled Tap-to-Play transactions for arcade game play and seamless integration with existing Regal entertainment offerings.

The Pelican Group, with decades of experience managing amusement operations in theatres, family entertainment centers, and other venues, will leverage Semnox’s technology to deliver operational efficiency, improved customer engagement, and robust data insights across Regal’s entertainment network.

“At Regal, we are always looking for ways to elevate the guest experience. Partnering with Semnox and The Pelican Group enables us to bring the latest innovations in entertainment technology directly to our customers,” said Adam Rymer, Chief Commercial Officer at Regal.

“We’re thrilled to bring cutting-edge technology to our Regal locations, ensuring guests have a smooth and modern experience while allowing operators to better manage performance and revenue,” said Sean Hanna, Chief Revenue Office at The Pelican Group.

This partnership with The Pelican Group and Regal is an exciting opportunity to showcase how our Parafait ecosystem can transform entertainment venues into fully integrated, customer-centric destinations,” said Bepin Jose, President at Semnox Solutions.

The deployment of the Parafait RFID system will continue into Q3 2026, marking one of the largest theatre-based rollouts of RFID technology in North America.
