Sacoa Cashless System, a global leader in payment and management solutions for the entertainment and leisure industries, has expanded its footprint in Mexico through a successful partnership with Cinemex’s new Knock Out concept. The Sacoa system has now been installed in 13 Knock Out locations, with additional venues set to launch in the coming months.

Knock Out is Cinemex’s latest innovation, transforming traditional cinema lobbies into dynamic, standalone entertainment zones. These spaces feature a wide range of attractions including arcades, plush claw machines, simulators, gashapon, and cutting-edge video games. Open to all guests, whether or not they’re seeing a movie, Knock Out redefines the movie theater experience into a multi-purpose entertainment destination.

Sacoa’s implementation includes a full suite of solutions: Spark RFID card readers, EZ K5 self-service kiosks, mobile POS terminals, and the Sacoa Redemption Module with integrated POS. Depending on each location’s layout, additional features like K4 kiosks and custom-designed RFID cards enhance guest engagement and streamline operations. Select locations also include designated redemption areas to support higher-volume prize play.

Sebastian Mochkovsky, CEO of Sacoa USA, praised the partnership, saying, “We’re thrilled to be part of Cinemex’s exciting Knock Out concept. Working with Miguel Laguna and his team has been a pleasure—they’re true professionals, and this collaboration is just the beginning of a strong, growing relationship.”

Miguel Laguna, Operations Manager of Knock Out, echoed the sentiment, noting, “Sacoa has proven to be much more than just a technology provider. Their reliable, scalable system and industry expertise gave us the confidence we needed to roll out this concept across multiple locations.”

With over 335 locations in 98 cities, Cinemex ranks among the top 10 cinema chains worldwide. Its expansion into hybrid cinema-arcade environments through Knock Out reflects a growing trend: blending entertainment experiences to drive higher foot traffic, longer dwell times, and increased revenue.

As more Knock Out venues come online, Sacoa continues to play a central role in delivering a seamless, cashless experience that enhances both operations and customer satisfaction—reinforcing its position as a key player in the global entertainment landscape.
